Studies and experience have proven that taking time off reduces stress and burnout. It amazes me that the United States is one of only 13 countries in the entire world that does not mandate vacation time.

The Medscape 2015 Physician Lifestyle Report revealed that more than a third (36%) of burned-out physicians take 2 weeks or less each year and 5% having no vacation at all, compared with 27% and 3%, respectively, of their non–burned-out peers.

In this quick video I share with you what you want to do TONIGHT (if you haven’t done already) to ensure you are getting necessary time off this year. Remember, your life and the life of your patients depend on this.
